Category Information
The transmission yoke is where the driveshaft story begins. It’s the first rotating interface between your gearbox and the shaft, and if it’s worn, incorrectly sized, or poorly made, nothing downstream is going to run right. Transmission yokes must fit the output shaft splines precisely — tight enough to prevent movement and slop, but not so tight that removal becomes a destructive exercise. The tail shaft seal rides against this yoke surface, so surface finish and dimensional accuracy aren’t just performance concerns, they’re sealing concerns too.
