T2-3-13131HP is the shortest TH400 yoke in the 1310 chromoly family at 4.880" C/U-joint to end -- even shorter than the short 1350 series T3-3-2431HP (5.500"). This ultra-short yoke is used in purpose-built drag race cars where the chassis provides a very short driveshaft tunnel and maximum spline engagement at the minimum yoke length.

The 1310 series is lighter than 1350 for the same basic geometry, which reduces rotating mass at the expense of torque capacity. For drag race builds below approximately 400 lb-ft at the driveshaft, the 1310 series is adequate and provides a small rotating mass advantage. Above that threshold, upgrade to the 1350 short TH400 yoke family (T3-3-2431HP or T3-3-2431CBHP). This yoke completes the final product in the batch -- pair with a 1310 U-joint and confirm spline engagement depth at the installed driveshaft length before first use.
