• 10-spline x 1.000" PD -- a very fine-pitch, low-count specification; unique to this Ford Capri variant
• 1.079" counterbore pilots over bearing retainer; confirm retainer OD precisely -- the small counterbore means minimal clearance tolerance
• 1.298" hub OD -- source tailshaft seal specifically for this dimension; no cross-over to other Capri variants at 1.375" or 1.500" hub
• 1100-series U-joint only; do not substitute 1251 or 1310 joints in this yoke ear bore
• 5.500" C-to-end -- same as the 24/25-spline 1403-25 variant; these may cover different transmission models within the Capri range

The 10-spline, 1.000" PD interface is unusual and mechanically light. Torque capacity is modest -- appropriate for the 4-cylinder and V6 engines fitted to the Capri in North American specification. Any engine swap that significantly increases torque should include an assessment of whether the 1100-series drivetrain remains adequate or whether a strengthened replacement drivetrain is warranted. This transmission yoke is a direct OE-specification replacement only.
