- 3R inside snap-ring retention -- confirm output shaft grove style before ordering (see 3R03-703 for alternate GM reference)
- 26/27 x 1.176" PD -- standard GM 26/27-spline specification shared with TH350, TH700, T56, and many transfer cases
- 6.750" C-to-end -- TH700/4L60E-length dimension; not correct for TH350 applications (use 3R03-350 at 5.460")
- 1.500" hub requires matching tailshaft seal bore; inspect the seal housing for condition before installation
- This transmission yoke differs from the 3R03-703 by GM part reference number -- verify which cross-reference matches your specific assembly before ordering
When installing any 3R inside snap-ring yoke, use a new snap ring rather than reusing the original. Snap rings are cheap insurance -- a fatigued ring that disengages under road load allows the yoke to separate from the transmission, taking the driveshaft with it. New rings should seat fully in both the shaft groove and the yoke bore groove with no visible gap at any point around the circumference.
