3152-1001 vs 3152-1003 -- Dodge vs Jeep CV Joints
These two CV joint kits are similar but distinct. Compare key differences:
- 3152-1001 (Dodge): 99.8mm OD, 8.5" BH, outer race 30mm, inner race 23mm
- 3152-1003 (Grand Cherokee/Liberty): 100mm OD, 8.7" BH, outer race 40mm, inner race 42mm
Both use 25 splines at 28mm diameter with 6 bolts, but the race widths differ substantially. The 3152-1001's narrower race (30/23mm) versus the 3152-1003's wider race (40/42mm) means they are not interchangeable even though the outer diameters are nearly identical.
