2552-1001 is an Audi driveshaft CV joint kit for the APP (Audi-style plunge) configuration. Plunge-type CV joints allow axial travel within the joint itself, making them the sliding (inboard) CV joint in an axle assembly rather than the fixed (outboard) type. The 28mm spline diameter and 25-spline count is specific to this Audi application.
