2552-1002 is a CV joint kit for Porsche and Volkswagen driveshaft applications. The 27.98mm spline diameter and 25-spline specification is the joint-specific identification -- the outer diameter (99.55mm) is shared with the Cadillac kit 2552-1003, but these are different joints with different spline specifications and are not interchangeable.
