3103-24 -- 1310 Nissan Transmission Yoke, 22/24 Splines
The 3103-24 is designed for Nissan passenger car and truck applications using a 22/24-spline, 0.995" PD output shaft -- a specification common across many Nissan automatic and manual transmissions. Like several Nissan OEM designs, these vehicles were assembled with a staked (crimped) U-joint that cannot be field-replaced without specialized tools. This yoke provides the serviceable replacement path, enabling standard snap-ring joint service at any driveshaft shop.
The 0.390" bore depth pilots over the bearing retainer OD for concentric centering, and the 1.375" hub OD must match the tailshaft seal. Cross-reference to Spicer 2-3-11731X for OEM comparison, though the Spicer unit covers a slightly different model range -- verify by measuring your original yoke. The 6.047" center-to-end is specific to this Nissan application; substituting a shorter yoke will reduce slip-tube engagement and increase the likelihood of separation on rough terrain or hard acceleration. This transmission yoke is standard steel construction, appropriate for all production-level Nissan drivetrain loads.
