3-53-1361 -- UDS Slip Midship Yoke, 16x1.375" Spline, 4.969" Spline Length, 3.000" Tube
A 4.969-inch spline section is long for a midship yoke -- most slip midship stubs run 2.000-2.500 inches of engagement length. The 3-53-1361's extended spline provides a wider range of telescoping adjustment, which is useful in applications where the two-piece driveshaft must accommodate significant suspension travel or where the installation length needs to be set on final fit-up rather than pre-calculated. Minimum engagement (1.000 inch in the mating bore) is easier to maintain with 4.969 inches of spline to work with.
