Q: Can I use 2603-25 on a later Mustang T5 or Tremec application?
A: No. The 23/25-spline x 1.083" interface is a smaller-diameter profile used on early Mustangs (pre-Tremec era) and Mazda transmissions. Later T5, T45, Tremec TKO, and TR-6060 boxes use different spline counts and hub diameters. Confirm your transmission output spline count and pitch diameter before ordering a transmission yoke.
Q: What makes the Mazda fitment different from the early Mustang fitment?
A: The yoke itself is the same part number for both applications -- the shared 23/25-spline x 1.083" profile spans both platforms. The counterbore of 1.179" pilots against the transmission output bearing retainer OD; if the Mazda and early Mustang retainer ODs differ, shim accordingly or verify with a test fit before final assembly.
