Full Description
A bent or cracked midshaft stub causes driveline vibration that looks like a u-joint problem but isn't. The 1253-242 is the correct replacement for the center section.
1253-242 Stub Shaft Specifications
The 1253-242 stub shaft -- 24 x 0.995 spline | 1.875" butt dia | 2.875" end-to-weld | fits 2.000 tube. use is with : 1204-241 nut sold sepratly: 858018.
Spline length determines how much engagement you have on the output shaft. Too short and you're running the shaft on the last few splines -- that's how output shafts get damaged.
