4126-41A – Weld Yokes – 1410 Series – Butt Dia 3.757″ – Tube Dia Wall 4.000X0.125

The 4126-41A brings the 1410-series aluminum weld yoke family down to 4.000" tube, providing a lighter-weight alternative to the 5.000" large-tube variants for applications where driveshaft span length and maximum speed do not demand the larger OD. The 4.000"x0.125" tube provides a good balance of critical speed and rotational inertia for high-performance street and club racing applications with wheelbase-to-speed requirements in the moderate range.

• 1410 series: 1.188" cap diameter; verify U-joint series before pressing in replacement joint
• 3.757" butt diameter -- step-down from 4.000" OD at 0.125" wall: 4.000" - 2x0.125" = 3.750" bore; 3.757" butt provides 0.007" interference
• 2.875" CL-to-weld -- same as 4126-50A (5.000" tube variant); consistent geometry across tube sizes in this series
• Aluminum: 6061-T6 typical; use stainless wire brush to remove oxide before welding
• Performance application: complete with 1410-series U-joint for consistent drivetrain capacity through the assembly

For performance builds where the driveshaft span is 48--56" and peak shaft speed exceeds 4,500 RPM, the 4.000" tube critical speed (approximately 5,200 RPM for a 52" span at 0.125" wall) is marginally adequate. If the calculated critical speed margin is under 25% above the maximum operating RPM, step up to the 5.000" tube family for the additional safety margin against resonant vibration onset.
