Full Description
The centerline-to-weld dimension on the 110679 is 1.688 inches. This measurement -- from the U-joint cross centerline to the tube weld face -- directly affects the working angle of the U-joint. If the driveshaft is assembled with a weld yoke that has a shorter or longer centerline-to-weld than specified in the application drawing, the U-joint angles will be off, causing vibration at specific RPM ranges.

This weld yoke requires the tube bore to be clean and sized correctly for a press fit before welding. Under-size tube bore causes the yoke to seat off-axis; over-size bore creates a gap that welds poorly. Standard DOM tube at 2.500 x 0.095 nominal dimensions will match this yoke's bore specification.
