1126-1711 UDS 9951-22 Weld Tube Yoke

The 1126-1711 is a 9951-22 series steel weld tube yoke manufactured by UDS. In a driveshaft assembly, this yoke is welded to a cut driveshaft tube — the weld end seats against or inside the tube, and the yoke ears accept a 9951-22 series U-joint that connects to the mating yoke at the transmission, transfer case, or differential.

The tube specification is 1.750X0.095 — the yoke bore is machined for a 1.750-inch OD tube with 0.095-inch wall. Substituting a tube with the correct OD but a different wall thickness will produce an incorrect fit at the weld joint. The butt diameter of 1.571 inches is the outer dimension of the yoke at the weld face and determines how the yoke nests inside or butts against the tube end during assembly. The center-U-joint-to-weld dimension is 1.625 inches, measured from the U-joint centerline to the weld face; this value is used when calculating the finished overall driveshaft length after welding.
