1426-862 -- CVJ Thin-Wall Weld Yoke, M8-1.25 Thread
The 1426-862 is the thin-wall companion to the 1426-863 -- sharing the same M8-1.25 metric thread and 1.250" centerline-to-weld dimension, but sized for 2.500"x0.065" tube (2.375" butt diameter) rather than the 0.083" wall (2.344" butt). The tube wall difference of 0.018" per side changes the butt diameter by 0.031" -- a small difference that translates to a noticeable fit variation at assembly. Inserting a 2.375" butt into a 0.083" wall tube bore (nominal 2.334" inside diameter) will produce a 0.041" radial interference; the yoke will not seat. Confirm tube wall thickness before ordering.
Companion parts 1452-8602-8602 and 1453-860 are required for a complete CV assembly. Note the companion socket designation (1452-8602-8602) uses a doubled suffix versus the 1426-863's 1452-8602 -- this indicates a different socket depth or body profile. Always match this weld yoke to its designated companion parts and verify the M8-1.25 thread pitch before sourcing fastener hardware.
