The 3R03-402 provides a mid-length 3R-series option for TH400 builds that fall between the Short TH400 dimension (5.340") and the fully extended 8.000" variant. At 7.187" center-to-end, this transmission yoke accommodates TH400 installations where the transmission has been moved rearward from the factory position, or where a custom adapter plate changes the effective tailshaft distance. The 31/32 x 1.391" spline on the 3R series is 0.006" smaller in PD than the T2-3 series 1.397" spec -- this is not a manufacturing tolerance but a specification difference. The 3R and T2-3 yokes are not interchangeable on the same output shaft. Measure the spline PD with a micrometer over pins to confirm which design your TH400 uses.
