Verify the snap-ring groove style on your TH400 output shaft matches the inside-retention design before ordering from either of these part numbers.

• 3R series -- inside snap-ring retention; different from outside snap-ring yokes at the same spline spec
• 31/32 x 1.391" PD -- 0.006" smaller PD than the T2-3 series 1.397" PD; these are not interchangeable
• 1.886" hub OD -- requires matching 1.886" tailshaft seal bore
• 7.500" C-to-end -- long slip variant; measure tunnel clearance to confirm driveshaft tube can retract this far

An easy verification method for identifying whether your TH400 uses inside or outside snap-ring retention: with the yoke removed, inspect the output shaft end.
