3103-321 – Transmission Yokes – 1310 Series – 31/32 X 1.378 Splines – 1.700″ Hub Dia

The 3103-321 covers a range of rear-wheel-drive applications using a 31/32-spline output shaft with a 1.378" pitch diameter -- a combination found on several European and Asian platform vehicles as well as some North American import-market trucks. With no counterbore, this transmission yoke seats flat against the tailshaft seal housing, so the seal ID must match the 1.700" hub OD exactly.

• 31/32-spline x 1.378" PD -- verify this is not the 1.397" PD used on GM TH400 before ordering
• 6.350" center-to-end is longer than the 5.500" Short TH400 variant; measure existing yoke CL-to-end if reusing the driveshaft tube
• No counterbore -- requires a flat seal housing; do not force-fit onto a stepped retainer
• 1310-series U-joint accepts 1.062" cap diameter; Spicer 5-153X cross-reference applies
• Inspect output shaft splines for wear or fretting before installing a new yoke; a worn shaft will destroy a new yoke within miles

Tip: apply a light film of assembly lube to the hub OD before sliding through the seal to avoid rolling the seal lip on initial installation.
