- At 7.750" C-to-end, this is the longest standard 1310 series C4 yoke -- provides maximum slip travel for drag-race or heavily modified chassis
- 1.319" counterbore locates over bearing retainer; centers yoke on output shaft for zero-runout installation
- 1.600" hub diameter -- verify tailshaft seal is sized to match, not the 1.500" standard C4 seal
- 27/28-spline x 1.220" PD -- Ford C4 standard; not compatible with C6 output shaft geometry
- Complete this drivetrain with a 1310-series weld yoke at the rear axle for a matched series assembly
The counterbore on this yoke is an important detail -- the 1.319" bore pilots the yoke onto the C4 output shaft bearing retainer OD, eliminating radial float at the transmission end of the driveshaft. On a car with a short wheelbase or a lightweight tube, even 0.001" of radial play at the yoke/tailshaft interface will produce a detectable vibration above 3,000 RPM.
