Full Description
The 1751 series is a small-diameter U-joint series used on light-duty foreign vehicle front driveshafts. The 2826-101 is the weld tube yoke for this series, specified for the Mercedes front driveshaft application.
The 1.000" OD tube with 0.120" wall is a heavy-wall-to-diameter ratio. Tube OD of 1.000" with 0.120" wall leaves only 0.760" inner diameter. This thick wall relative to the OD results in high torsional stiffness in a very small package, appropriate for the compact front driveshaft on 4WD and AWD Mercedes vehicles where shaft length is short and the U-joint operates at higher than normal angles.
