2626-30 -- 7260 Weld Yoke for 3.000x0.065 Tube
The 2626-30 is the thin-wall (0.065") complement to the 2626-31 (0.083") in the 7260 series for 3.000" tube. The 0.031" butt diameter increase (2.875" vs. 2.844") reflects the thinner wall reducing the bore size, requiring a proportionally larger pilot for the same centering tolerance. This is the lighter assembly option for Chrysler/Mopar driveshafts where tube weight reduction is more critical than added wall-section strength.
The 3.000"x0.065" specification appears on lighter Chrysler/Dodge trucks and minivans that use the 7260 joint for its angular capacity rather than peak torque requirements. At 1.625" CL-to-weld, the weld joint is positioned consistently with the 7260-series geometry standards. Balance post-weld to 0.10 oz-in residual, which is the standard specification for this tube and series combination.
