The 2603-25 transmission yoke is the connection between the gearbox tailshaft and the front of the driveshaft. It splines onto the transmission output shaft and carries the front u-joint of the driveshaft. For 7260 series applications, the spline count and hub diameter are the two specs that determine whether this part fits your tailshaft correctly.

The 7260 series covers GM light trucks and vans using the Dana 7260 cross pattern. The 2603-25 transmission yoke specs: 23/25 X 1.083 spline | 1.495" hub | 6.000" CJ-to-end. Compatible with: Mazda, Some Early Mustangs. Hub diameter determines engagement depth on the tailshaft — if the hub is too short, the splines don't fully engage. CJ-to-end affects driveshaft working length.
