The 2354-684 is a CVJ (constant velocity joint) style stub midship shaft, one of the longer units in the series at 7.550" end-to-weld. CVJ-style stub shafts incorporate or interface with a constant velocity joint at the outboard end rather than a conventional U-joint, providing smooth power delivery through the operating angle range. This is common on Honda driveshaft designs where the midship point requires angle change compensation.
