3103-162 UDS 1310 Slip Yoke
The 3103-162 is a 1310 series slip yoke manufactured by UDS. The slip yoke slides over the stop shaft — the splined stub welded onto the front section of the driveshaft tube — and telescopes in and out as the suspension cycles. This allows the driveshaft to change working length without binding.
The spline specification is 16; verify this matches the stop shaft before ordering. The centerline-to-end dimension is 7.875 inches, measured from the U-joint centerline to the open end of the spline bore. This controls minimum engagement depth under full suspension droop — ensure sufficient spline overlap remains at maximum driveshaft extension. Commonly used long travel on 4X4. The 1310 series ranks above 1210 in torque capacity, with a 1.062-inch cap diameter, suited for light-duty trucks, half-ton pickups, and most rear-wheel-drive passenger cars.
