IC33 -- 2.496" ID x 3.5" OD Increase Bushing
0.502-inch wall per side for heavy-duty press-fit structural applications.
The IC33 has the largest wall thickness of the IC-series bushings at approximately 0.502 inches per side. This substantial wall is necessary because the 3.5-inch OD must carry significant hoop stress in the press fit, and the larger-diameter applications (3.5-inch yoke bores) operate at higher torque levels where the bushing must contribute structural strength rather than just fill a gap.
The 2.496-inch inner bore is close to 63.4mm metric tube OD -- found in European heavy-duty commercial vehicle driveshafts. The IC33 allows use of a 3.5-inch bore yoke on a metric-OD tube. Confirm the actual tube OD with a micrometer -- nominal metric dimensions can vary by ±0.5mm between manufacturers, which is significant for a press fit application.
