The 1.575" ID corresponds to approximately 40mm (45mm OD minus 2 x 2.5mm wall), which is the metric tube bore expressed in imperial units. This bushing is designed specifically for metric-to-imperial tube diameter conversion in driveshaft rebuilds. Confirm the metric tube wall is exactly 2.5mm.

The IC31 is one of the smaller-diameter bushings in this series, transitioning from a 45mm metric tube to a 2.0" imperial tube. The 2.0" OD mates with the 2-120 tube spec. A different metric tube wall thickness will change the effective bore and the bushing will not seat correctly.
