When fitting the IC27, confirm the inner tube is 2.5" OD x 0.065" wall (25-065) and the target outer tube is 3.0" OD x 0.065" wall (3-065). The 2.371" ID reflects the 25-065 bore dimension. Both tubes in this transition use the same 0.065" wall specification. The 0.25" installed lip is normal and must be accounted for in the driveshaft assembly length.

The IC27 is a same-wall transition from 2.5" to 3.0" tube, both at 0.065" wall. The IC29 (25-083 to 3-065) differs in the inner tube wall; the IC27 uses a lighter inner tube. Do not substitute between these even though the outer tube spec is the same (3-065) -- the ID difference (2.371" vs 2.334") is significant for proper inner tube seating.
