Full Description
The 4803-318 transmission yoke is the connection between the gearbox tailshaft and the front of the driveshaft. It splines onto the transmission output shaft and carries the front u-joint of the driveshaft. For 1480 series applications, the spline count and hub diameter are the two specs that determine whether this part fits your tailshaft correctly.

The 1480 series covers heavy commercial Class 3-4 trucks and Dana heavy applications. The 4803-318 transmission yoke specs: 30/31 X 1.615 spline | 2.201" hub | 8.339" CJ-to-end. Compatible with: Nickel Plated, GM. Hub diameter determines engagement depth on the tailshaft — if the hub is too short, the splines don't fully engage. CJ-to-end affects driveshaft working length.
