Tri-prong (and quad-prong) yokes are specialized weld-to-tube driveshaft components where the U-joint interface uses three or four individual prongs around a bushing rather than the standard two-ear yoke pattern. The prong design allows higher angular capacity and is common on European and luxury American vehicles with independent rear suspension.

The 3626-961 is the Cadillac application tri-prong yoke. It uses a 96mm bolt circle diameter with 12mm bolt holes and an 18mm pilot bore. The 32mm nose bushing is the journal around which the U-joint's needle bearings sit in this prong-style configuration.

The 1.150" face-to-weld dimension is the distance from the front face of the yoke to the tube weld interface. This is shorter than the 1.219" used on 3626-960 (GTO application), distinguishing these two 96mm Cadillac/GM variants. Confirm your original face-to-weld measurement if both part numbers appear applicable.
