Assembly Note: The 3626-252 is a sub-component of a CV joint driveshaft assembly. It must be used in combination with CV centering socket 2752-941 and CV front tube yoke 3653-252. Ordering the weld yoke alone without the companion CV components will not complete a functional assembly -- verify all three part numbers are in hand before beginning fabrication.

The 3626-252 is a CVJ-series weld yoke designed for use in constant-velocity driveshaft assemblies where one end of the shaft requires a CV joint to cancel operating-angle velocity variations. The 2.500" tube at 0.083" wall is a standard light-truck and passenger-car driveshaft specification. The 2.344" butt diameter creates a 0.156" diametral clearance (0.078" per side) with the tube bore -- a deliberate loose pilot that accommodates the slightly oversized taper-bore that CVJ-series tubes use. Tack-weld with the butt fully seated before final welding. The companion CV joint components (2752-941 and 3653-252) must be sourced and installed per the CVJ assembly manual, including correct centering ball preload, to ensure the CV mechanism functions as designed.
