Q: Is the 3326-506A the same as the 3326-50A except for CL-to-weld?
A: Yes -- identical in series (1330), tube spec (5.000"x0.125"), butt diameter (4.757"), and material (aluminum). The only difference is CL-to-weld: 3.000" versus 2.875". Select based on required total shaft length: the 3326-506A produces a shaft 0.125" shorter than the 3326-50A for the same tube cut.
Q: Can I mix a 3326-50A at one end and a 3326-506A at the other end of the same shaft?
A: Yes, technically -- both ends use the same 4.757" butt and 1330-series joints. The total assembled shaft length will be the sum of both CLs plus the tube length. Calculate the total carefully to ensure the correct assembled length: (2.875" + tube length + 3.000") = required shaft length. The 0.125" difference in CL will offset the tube cut required.
Q: What U-joint is required at both ends of this assembly?
