3126-108 -- CVJ Weld Yoke for 2.500x0.083 Tube
The 3126-108 carries the longest centerline-to-weld measurement in this CVJ series at 1.750" -- 0.125" more than the 3126-253 and 0.500" more than the 3626-252. This additional distance is specified because the companion CV centering socket (3152-1081) has a longer body depth that requires the weld joint to be set back further to maintain the correct assembly geometry. Mixing weld yokes across companion-part sets will result in incorrect CV centering socket preload and joint operating angle, producing vibration that worsens with suspension travel.
Complete assembly requires CVJ socket 3152-1081 and front tube yoke 3153-1081 in addition to this weld yoke. The 2.500" x 0.083" tube specification is common across multiple OEM and aftermarket driveshaft applications -- confirm the existing driveshaft tube OD and wall before ordering. At 2.344" butt diameter, self-centering in the tube bore is achieved with minimal clearance; ensure the tube bore is free of corrosion scale or weld splatter from previous repairs before inserting the new yoke for tacking. Pair with a CV joint kit for the complete assembly.
