• 16-spline output is unique to early Powerglide units -- not interchangeable with any later GM 26-, 27-, or 32-spline yoke
• 1.156" counterbore pilots over the Powerglide tailshaft bearing retainer; confirm retainer OD before ordering
• 1.500" hub seals against standard GM 1.500" tailshaft seal -- seal is the same as the TH350 seal in bore ID
• 4.875" C-to-end is compact -- these early A-body and full-size Chevrolets used shorter driveshaft tunnels
• Pairs with 1310-series U-joint at 1.062" cap; replaces factory U-bolt or snap-ring joint in this application

Powerglide-equipped early Chevrolets used this yoke across a wide range of body styles. The 16-spline interface is mechanically robust for its era but limits torque capacity compared to later designs -- a consideration if the car has been engine-swapped to a larger displacement powerplant. For high-torque Powerglide builds, inspect the output shaft splines for fretting and consider a custom shaft if spline condition is marginal.
