2826-901 – Tri & Quad Prongs – Bolt Circle Dia 90MM – Butt Dia 2.375″ – Face To Weld 1.700

The 2826-901 is the companion to the 2826-902, both Mercedes tri-prong yokes on a 90mm bolt circle with 10mm clearance holes and 16mm pilot. The distinction: the 2826-901 has a 2.375" butt diameter and uses a thinner 0.065" wall tube, while the 2826-902 has a 2.344" butt and uses 0.083" wall tube.

The butt diameter difference (2.375" vs 2.344") reflects different tube bore sizes between the two application variants. A 2.375" butt fits a tube with 2.375" ID, and a 2.344" butt fits a tube with approximately 2.344" ID. The wall thickness specification further confirms these are two different tube sizes despite the same nominal OD of 2.500".

For Mercedes driveshaft repairs, verify both the differential flange pattern AND the tube specification. Ordering 2826-901 when your tube is 0.083" wall will result in a butt that doesn't fit the tube bore correctly, producing an off-center weld and subsequent vibration. Measure your existing tube wall with a micrometer at the weld end before ordering.
