Series Note: Compare to 2926-32 (GM 7290, same tube spec, 1.812" CL-to-weld) -- the 7260 variant 2626-32 uses a 1.625" CL-to-weld, 0.187" shorter than the GM equivalent. This dimensional difference between the Chrysler and GM variants of the same tube size means these yokes are not cross-brand interchangeable even though tube OD, wall, and series cap size appear similar.

The 2626-32 addresses Chrysler/Mopar 3.250"x0.065" tube driveshaft applications in the 7260 series. The 0.187" difference in CL-to-weld compared to the GM 7290 equivalent (2926-32) is significant -- swapping to the GM dimension would effectively shorten the assembled shaft by 0.187", which shifts the rear U-joint operating angle and can cause contact between the driveshaft tube and tunnel components at ride height.
