- 2.000" OD tube is a small diameter for driveshaft applications -- critical speed for a 2.000" x 0.083" steel shaft at 30" length is approximately 7,400 RPM; at 40" it drops to approximately 4,200 RPM.
- 1310-series interface -- confirm trunnion span on your cross matches 1310 specification, not 1330.
- Common application: transfer case short output shaft, secondary driveshaft segments, or custom light-vehicle builds.
- Spicer equivalent: 2-28-357 weld yoke; Neapco reference: 2-0020 series.
This weld yoke should be confirmed by measuring the original shaft's tube OD before ordering. A 2.000" OD specification is only suitable for low-torque, modest-speed applications -- for any vehicle producing above 400 ft-lb peak torque at the rear wheels, consider stepping up to at least a 2.500" tube diameter.
