Full Description
Upgrade path note: the 2-28-277 (1310-series, 2.500" x 0.065") is the minimum viable specification for many compact RWD passenger cars. If the vehicle has been modified with increased engine output above 500 ft-lb at the wheels, consider stepping to 2-28-367 (2.500" x 0.083") for added wall thickness and fatigue life, or even the 2.750" tube variants if the tunnel clearance permits.

Tip: when cutting a shaft to replace one weld yoke, make the cut perpendicular to the tube centerline -- a skewed cut introduces a permanent angularity error at the yoke-to-tube interface that cannot be corrected by clamping during welding.
