Building or rebuilding a 1350 series driveshaft means getting the weld yoke right first. The 3-28-57-1 weld yoke is machined for one tube diameter and one series — those two specs are non-negotiable. Get the butt diameter wrong and the weld joint is already compromised before you strike the arc.
3-28-57-1 Weld Yoke — Tube Fit & Steel Specs
The 1350 series covers 3/4-ton trucks — F-250, Ram 2500, Dana 44/60 axles, performance 4x4. The 3-28-57-1 weld yoke specs: fits 2.750X0.083 tube | 2.594" butt dia | 2.000"" center-to-weld.
