A: No. The 2626-40 (7260 series) and 2926-40 (7290 series) both fit 4.000"x0.065" tube with the same 3.875" butt diameter and 2.000" CL-to-weld. However, the U-joint series is different -- 7260 joints are Chrysler-spec and not interchangeable with GM 7290 joints despite sharing the same cap OD. Installing the wrong joint in the wrong yoke ear bore will result in incorrect cap seating and immediate bearing failure.
