UJ3593 UDS 35x93 U-Joint — OSR Style, Multiple Series
The UJ3593 is a 35 x 93mm series U-joint manufactured by UDS in an outside snap ring (OSR) retention style. The cap diameter is 1.377 inches (35mm) and the overall width is 3.661 inches (93mm). The joint is greasable with a lube fitting. This U-joint is compatible with multiple driveshaft series that share the 35 x 93mm cap dimension.

When fitting the UJ3593, confirm the yoke ears accept an outside snap ring retention cap at 1.377-inch diameter. The OSR style requires snap rings to retain the bearing caps externally — the yoke ears must have the corresponding snap ring groove machined into them. A 1.377-inch cap installed in a yoke machined for a different snap ring style or press-fit retention will not seat correctly.
The 35 x 93mm U-joint dimension is a metric standard found in European, Japanese, and some North American import vehicle driveshafts. The UJ3593 is greasable, allowing field lubrication to extend service life. Always confirm cap diameter and width against the yoke ear dimensions — a 35 x 92 or 35 x 95 cap will not interchange with the UJ3593's 35 x 93 geometry.
