N230123-6 -- Large Series Driveshaft Washer
1.281" ID x 2.75" OD x 0.125" thick -- for heavy-duty U-joint series retention.
The 2.75-inch outside diameter of N230123-6 indicates this washer is used on a large-format U-joint -- likely in the 1480, 1550, or larger series where the bearing cap and yoke bore are correspondingly larger. The thinner 0.125-inch thickness (vs. 0.188-inch on smaller washers) may be to accommodate a specific end-play specification at the bearing cup.
Do not substitute a thicker washer in place of the N230123-6 -- adding 0.063 inch of extra thickness on each side of the U-joint cross creates 0.126 inch of reduced cross endplay, which preloads the needle bearings and causes premature failure.
