98-216 -- Driveshaft Washer, 1.062 ID x 2.016 OD
The 1.062-inch inside diameter of the 98-216 correlates with the 1.062-inch cap diameter of 1210, 1310, and 1330 series U-joints. This washer seats against the bearing cup end inside the yoke bore, setting the axial position of the cup before the snap ring is installed. Using the wrong thickness (different from the original 98-216) changes U-joint endplay and needle bearing contact pattern.
