The 5503-318 transmission yoke is the connection between the gearbox tailshaft and the front of the driveshaft. It splines onto the transmission output shaft and carries the front u-joint of the driveshaft. For 1550 series applications, the spline count and hub diameter are the two specs that determine whether this part fits your tailshaft correctly.

The 1550 series covers commercial fleet Class 5-6 and medium-duty vocational trucks. The 5503-318 transmission yoke specs: 30/31 x 1.610 spline | 2.201" hub | 9.750" CJ-to-end.
