Ordering the wrong snap-ring variant is one of the most common errors when sourcing weld yokes. The suffix "-6" in 3326-406A specifies a snap-ring groove profile that differs from the standard 3326-40A which uses a wing-bearing or press-fit cap design. Before ordering, confirm your U-joint cross uses the corresponding retention method -- mixing clip styles creates improper cap seating and accelerates wear.
