3126-306A: 1310 aluminum weld yoke, 3.000×0.125 tube, butt 2.757″ — snap-ring retention bore; requires snap-ring 1310 cross or caps will not seat at correct depth.
Full Description
The 3126-306A is the snap-ring bore variant of the 3126-30A, sharing the same 1310-series interface, 3.000" x 0.125" aluminum tube fit, and 2.757" butt diameter. The "-6" suffix specifies a snap-ring groove bore that allows U-joint replacement in the field without a hydraulic press. Pair only with 1310-series snap-ring style crosses -- Spicer 5-153X snap-ring configuration or equivalent. Preheat to 250 deg F, use 4043 filler, full-penetration fillet weld. This weld yoke is well suited to expedition or off-road vehicles where trailside drivetrain repair must be possible without workshop tooling.
