The 2726-262 is designated as a Male Pin Style tri-prong yoke. Where conventional prong yokes have sockets that accept pins from the mating spider, the male pin style reverses this: the yoke carries the pins (prongs) that insert into sockets on the mating component. This is an important distinction because male-pin and female-socket yokes are not interchangeable.

The 16mm nose bushing is significantly smaller than the 28-32mm used on conventional prong yokes. This small bushing diameter is consistent with a different joint geometry where the male pin style uses a narrower contact interface. The 22mm pilot on a 96mm bolt circle provides registration.
