Toyota-Specific Tube Size: The 2.560" tube OD is a Toyota-standard metric-derived dimension (65mm nominal) that does not correspond to any inch-standard SAE tube size. Using a 2.500" tube weld yoke (butt 2.375" or 2.344") in a Toyota 2.560" tube bore will produce a loose pilot of 0.060" to 0.090" radial clearance -- far too much for consistent weld positioning.
