Tube Fitment

This yoke is manufactured to accept tubing with an outside diameter of 1.750" and a wall thickness of 0.065". Before welding, confirm that the tube OD matches the butt bore precisely. A gap exceeding 0.005" between tube and yoke bore can introduce weld porosity and reduce joint fatigue life. Use a V-groove or fillet weld with full penetration; partial welds are not acceptable for rotating driveshaft components.
