The 1340-20L midshaft stub -- splined one end for the transmission or T-case, welded or pressed into the driveshaft tube at the other. One spec, no substitution.

The 1340-20L midshaft stub specs: 20 X 1.310 spline | 6.500" spline length | 2.435" butt dia | 9.375" end-to-weld | fits 2.560 tube. Note: Toyota, Sold only in kit 1343-20L. Verify spline count and butt diameter against your existing shaft.
The butt diameter must match the tube ID you're fitting it to -- a loose butt joint will introduce runout when welded.
