IC21 – Increase Bushings – Inside Dia 2.127″ – Outer Dia 2.133

The IC21 has nearly equal ID (2.127") and OD (2.133") -- a wall thickness of only 0.003 inches. This is not a structural load-bearing bushing; it is a thin-wall shim sleeve used to take up a small dimensional gap between a metric tube and an inch-dimension bore (or vice versa). A 2.127-inch OD tube in a 2.133-inch bore has 0.003-inch radial clearance per side -- the IC21 fills that gap for a snug fit before welding.

This type of thin shim sleeve is used in metric-to-inch driveshaft conversions where the metric tube OD falls just inside an inch-specification yoke bore. The sleeve is not intended to carry structural shear loads independently -- the surrounding weld is the primary load path.
